Does anyone know if the Percy Symposium
still exists in Steven L. Dye, MA Director Bluegrass MH-MR Board,

Message----- That’s great that Percy’s all over
the place – I have recently come across some friend who read and love
him, but… Does anyone know of Percy taught in Southern
Literature courses lately? The ones here
seem to skip over him in favor of other authors – or a Percy session at a
conference? I can’t seem to find
him in academia any more, but maybe it’s just the circles I’m in. I would love to know if he is being taught or
discussed out there! Karey From:

be more feared than real. A former student who is now at Lynchburg
college recently asked me to recommend what his followup to Moviegoer should
be. He said, "Percy's all over the place here." It seems to me that
with time and distance, the novels are actually becoming less dated. Or maybe
it's just me getting older. Maybe I ought join David and roll the bottoms
of my pants . . . --Rhonda
