Julio's "attack," as you call it, was a little
less vehement than Pat Robertson's attack on his country's leader, was it
not? And, we helped Europe and Japan and others out, sure, (as the
saying goes, if it wasn't for us, you'd all be speaking German) but that by no
means exonerates us from our other sins or future responsibilities and good
behavior.
Just responded at length to Robert, and it's late, so
I'll pass on this for now, except to say, hmmm, my gender is mystery?
Well, that's as it should be, though a glass of Early Times is always a good
idea for debates between friends. More than a couple, however, not
so good - debates turn into arguments, or Dorothy Parker poems. Percy had
it right in "Bourbon"...
