I notice "up to 150 mg. vitamin C/100 gm."

Some time ago on this list, Chaenomeles was recommended to me as the best substitute for lemon.

About 30 years ago, the late Lawrence Hills of the Henry Doubleday Research Association
(blessed be his name) in the UK recommended the cultivar "Boule de Feu" for fruit.
