Cummins is an ethical and knowledgeable outfit but their relatively short
growing season can be a disadvantage in sizing up trees. Find out when you
order the size they have available in what you want to order.
No matter who you order from, bare root trees tend to be small, usually not
more than 3/4" to an inch (this is rare) diameter, and, depending on
species and rootstock, (and all the issues of the planting site, including
the ability of the grower) can take several years to reach adequate size to
carry a decent crop.
