Hi all,
Been growing vegetables and subtropical container plants for a long time and
have seen plenty of frost-blackened vegetables outdoors. What I don't
understand very well is why 28 degrees in my sunporch didn't harm my tomato
plants the other night and 24 last night didn't seem to affect my
subtropicals--guava, jaboticaba etc. The frost formation is more deadly than
the sub-freezing temperatures?
