the fruit turns black if exposed to frost (still usable if harvested and
processed quickly,but will not keep)
Usually the fruit hangs below the leaf canopy wch covering prottects the
fruit from damage, but the first klling frost will cause the leaves to
defoliate thereby ecposing the fruit.
If some of the fruit has softened, it can all be picked and will after-ripen
indoors.
Otherwise you can throw a white bedsheet over the plant

Have a frost warning coming for tomorrow night and wondering if anyone
knows what temp the fruit of hardy kiwi is damaged at? Last few years
I picked before last frost. Can they handle a touch of light frost?
