I got an early seedling offered from ONG and it is incredibly vigorous. I
let it get big, in part hoping for better fruit production. Only got a few
berries a year and the birds will leave them alone here for some reason.
It's become invasive and I've dug it up several times the past three years,
but still have bits and pieces cropping up. Getting rid of it as this one is
a waste of space.
I wanted to ask the size of the plants you are working with? Small ones can be
fussy, but once well rooted virtually indestructible here. Very easy to propagate
as well. 6" cuttings will root easily.

I haven't been able to keep them
alive here in sw Wisconsin. Each
year I plant a few and the following spring they are
dead. They're
supposed to be cold hardy so not sure what the issue
is. I have a few
of the One Green World variety and debating whether to
sacrifice those
or keep them in pots.

They are incredibly easy to grow. The only
Green World and Raintree Nursery carry them.
They are fairly productive but the BIRDS LOVE THEM!Even the goldfinches eat the green ones! My experience
is that they must be netted or planted by the hundreds to
get any fruit. I eat if right off the bush. The bush
is not very attractive, but vigorous. You should have no
problem. It is also easy to root by airlayering, by my
experience.
