Young persimmon trees drop a lot of fruit and that's normal. Also if you're
using a fertilizer with high nitrogen can lead to fruit drop. Not sure if
lack of pollination can cause fruit drop in Kaki in the same manner as
American persimmon.

diospyros kaki seem prone to fruit drop.
Pollinating can reduce fruit drop, but since seedless fruit is more
desireable...how do commercial growers of seedless persimmons minimize the
"fruit drop" problem?
