Agreed: Check and make sure it's not a "weed & feed" product. Some of those
have a pre-emergent weed killer (something that inhibits seeds from
sprouting) and probably wouldn't harm your brambles or strawberries. Others
are designed to burn the growing tip of non-grassy plants, and will damage
your crops.
But if it's just fertilizer, it should be safe so long as you don't over-do
it.
