Megan, Where was this? Far enough south to grow lemons outdoors I take it.
The Ponderosa tree I'm familiar with (it lives in a commercial greenhouse in
the area) has fruit that are sometimes misshapen. In Florida citrus is
often grafted on rough lemon, and the fruit has a tendency to dry out.
That's just a rootstock problem. Donna
