I don't think this is exactly what you're after, but Nichols describes
their "Brewers Gold" as "heirloom. 1919 seedling selection from a wild
hop growing at Morden, Manitoba". However they say it then became a
major commercial variety in Oregon, Spain, and Belgium and is ancestor
of a lot of other high-alpha hops.
Maybe Nichols knows where you could get wild ones?
