If I read the article right, this means that the judge upheld the right of
the university to sell exclusive wholesale rights to the fruit to one
nursery. Interestingly, they are also allowing a few trees to be sold to
"consumers" as backyard apple trees, and to small orchards that sell fruit
direct to consumer, but not to any other commercial orchards that sell
wholesale.
