Kudzu was (is?) an important fodder crop in Korea. I suspect the reason it
did not become important here is that its vining nature would make it difficult
to harvest with machines. I know from personal experience that vetch and
fava are good cattle feed but I have never seen either baled. It might be
possible to use them as chopped silage but silage was never important where I
lived in California dried hays being preferred.
