Photos I’ve seen of it, and fruits from my own NC-10, look very similar to the Geneva Long in Jerry’s photo. Ripening dates differ, though, and I’m fairly confident that my NC-10 tree is true to name. The original Geneva Long that I grafted was, in my opinion, made from mislabeled scionwood, as it definitely was not elongate, as in the photo. Borers and a wind storm took it out several years ago, and I’ve regrafted with scions obtained at a KNGA meeting , but it’s not yet fruited, so I don’t know if I’ve got the actual Geneva Long, yet, or not. I’ll second Jerry’s recommendation for Yates – it is a very tasty persimmon, with good fruit size.
