Ginda, If you got some rain late in the summer, your plants probably did
some blooming later than they would have if they'd been going all summer. I
find it amusing that my gooseberries (planted a year ago) which defoliated
fairly early in the year now have leaves and are presumably working on
getting their roots established when I thought they were just done for the
year. Maybe they'll use our long summers for estivating and fit in 2 growth
seasons per year. I'll have to wait for a non-drouth year to find out I
