Yep, Bear Creek was one I was thinking of, specifically, in my
first response. Believe that their low prices were a prime contributor to
their demise. Lucky From: nafex-bounces@lists.ibiblio.org

hope they stay in business--one of my favorite nurseries-- Bear Creek ---went
under sometime ago--perhaps their prices were too low--they were very
inexpensive and had a good selection . Idell From:

Behalf Of Dr. Lucky Pittman Yeah, they used to offer more seed-grown ornamentals, in
addition to edibles. I bought some native deciduous magnolias(Bigleaf, Cucumbertree,
Umbrella, etc.) and Yellowwood seedlings from OIKOS years ago. Lucky From:

Behalf Of Idell Weydemeyer I
just looked at the catalog for Oikos-it is now miniscule in its offerings in
comparison to what it was a while ago. I bought the white Nanking cherries in
2006 from a long list of fruit plants. Idell |
