The Solanum that is sold as "Garden Huckleberry", in my opinion, tastes bad. It might be survival food but I'd have to be really hungry to eat it. Garden Nightshade, Solanum nigrum, on the other hand, mixed with some sugar and baked in a pie is delicious.
