Do you have enough room for stock-piling truckloads of woodchips? Research
your local tree diseases, but I think 3 years is the ticket for breaking most
disease cycles.
Who will bring you truckloads? Arborists, county road crews, the local power
or phone company may hire contractors for clearing right-of-ways.
Also, the nearest village or 2 may find it cost effective to dump their
leaves & woodchips on your site. I have also gotten individuals to bring me
their leaves, but for a commercial operation that might be too much fuss.
I've also hauled bagged leaves from city curbs. Never leave town with an
empty truck.
