| Jay, For me, the issue is that Joel fruits at a later time than Nanking's, thus significantly extending the fruiting season for cherries. I understand the plants eventually get bigger if trained upward. My white Nankings from the same place as yours fruited this year. I was quite pleased with them. They were replacement plants from an earlier purchase that was supposed to be white, but was not. I was told that there had been a problem from their supplier.
