| With good sun and soil, my Nanking cherry fruits have always been about 5/8" in diameter. Under such conditions, they bear so heavily that everything, including me, eats them but altogether we make little dent in production. Occasionally I'll prune some branches back severely to stimulate young, vigorous replacement growth.
