Osage Orange fruits when green have a white milky substance similar to liquid latex. I've read somewhere that Thomas Edison experimented with OO to make tires for Henry Fords cars. But rubber won out. If you get the milk on a knife blade and let it dry, it can't be washed off normally, without a lot or rubbing. But it dissolves easily with gasoline.
