Thanks, Bill This confirms, at least in my mind, that the tree that’s
currently fruiting(since the first week of Sept) in my orchard is NC-10, but
the tree that was next to it, down the row, grafted the same year, with
scionwood purchased as ‘Geneva Long’ never produced these elongate fruits –
rather, a more typical round, orange-fleshed fruit. I think I have another Geneva Long somewhere, grafted from
scions I picked up at a KNGA meeting – it’s not fruited for me yet, so it may
be different – unless the person who brought the scions, originally got their start
from scions I brought to the swap meet. Lucky From:
