My wife read on the internet (so it must be true) that milk is effective
against powdery mildew on cucurbits. So there I was tonight, out spraying
the zukes with skim milk.
I read of some trials using milk on fruit for controlling brown rot too,
with anecdotal evidence that it worked. I haven't seen any real studies,
but it seems to go back to a 1999 study in Brazil.
