I don't know about convincing, but it is a limited personal observation.
I look forward to your report back.
I have tempted fate by heavily mulching my vegetable garden beds with
hay. If I see some vole activity in my vegetable garden, I will seek to
perform the randomized treatment with the gum in some areas and nothing
in others and report back on tunnel longevity in the different treatment
groups.
Betsy, well that's a pretty convincing testimonial. I'd be a fool to
suggest that the efficacy of the gum is impossible without trying it and
yet I'd feel like a fool to risk my trees by experimenting with it. I
think I'll try some gum before putting out traps and let you all know
what happens. It'll just be some more anecdotal evidence but it will at
