The Berry Bulletin put out by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture
advises to not mow strawberries if they do not have time to grow back by
Mid-August when next year's flower buds form. This warning would apply to
those whose crop was very late and those of us who are caught in the
stationary, colder than normal, weather pattern we Northerners are caught
