Mark,
We had some 100 degree+ days here in NW FL, too----about 3 or 4 weeks ago! It then dropped into the low 90's and upper 80's. We, too have experienced fireblight on pears. Most varieties have seen some damage---including those highly immune varieties. We had no noticeable fireblight here until about 15 years ago when we had an unseasonably cold wet Spring. Then we have had some show up almost ever since then. Disease problems change.
So don't feel like the Lone Ranger on fireblight!
Kind regards,
Richard Harrison, NW FL
