| I emailed one of the researchers to ask about this, (Isn't the internet great?) and he said that pit removal is a big expense for food processors, I guess the ones who make pitted prunes in this case. That's where the market would be for these plums. How often do you see fresh prune plums for sale anyway? I don't hear anyone complaining about seedless bananas. Melissa |
