My original Evans/Bali is declining, and has been so for the past 3
years or so, but it's been throwing up suckers well away from the
main trunk - some as far as 20 ft away - since 2 or 3 years after it
was planted.
In my experience, it's just not really suited to my hot zone 6
conditions - it's enough later maturing than the Montmorency next to
it that curculios - or some other insect pest - damage most of the
little fruits early on.
