Hi Karen,
I haven't had apricots, but the Nanking cherry branch dieback that we
have experienced is due to a small worm. I understand that if the dead and
wilting tips are removed cutting a little way into healthy tissue, and they
are destroyed, that there is control possible. We don't get enough fruits
to make that worthwhile
