I worked for a lettuce farmer a couple years ago who had a great fence
system for rabbits. He would put a skirt on his regular fence by bending 5' sections of chicken wire about at its
halfway point into an L shape. The
horizontals are placed facing out so the rabbits wont be able dig under
the fence. It works great until the rabbits find a hole, then it
becomes a game of finding the hole in a weed overgrown fence. I
suggested a chicken run ( Ll ) outside the fence to clear up the vegetation and create (hopefully) a bug barrier but he didn't really want
any more animals. I don't have problems with rabbits yet so I wont be able
to try it. On a totally unrelated note a friend just gave me a couple
osage orange seedlings, I know its late but if anybody knows where i
might find some che scion wood I would be very appreciative.
