I'm making my garden plan now, and hoping I won't have
to hide all the good plants behind the deer fence. Can
I get some advice on whether or not these plants are
reasonably deer-proof?
Thorny plants:
raspberries
blackberries
clove currant
black currant
Non-thorny plants:
maypop (which I've never seen, but the catalogs claim
it's hardy here.)
pawpaw
Last year, I was surprised that the deer loved eating
my tomato plants, but left my basil, rosemary, thyme,
and various alliums alone, so there's no accounting
for taste.
