My wife and I raise blueberries for a living. The
main thing they need is lots of organic matter. And then some more organic
matter. It's worth it to buy peat moss, at least 1/2 cubic feet per plant
(minimum 5'x5' per plant). Old sawdust is wonderful . And unlike other plants,
you can't mulch them too deep.
I don't think gypsum has much magnesium.
Blueberries seldom suffer from any deficiencies when they are in high organic
matter.
Strawberries are different, I can't help you
there.
