This is interesting as I had always thought this picture of MM.111 had been
placed there on p.148 by mistake! Actually, I had assumed the picture
referred to Minjon whose description is on the same page...
If you get some confirmation from the St-Jean Station people, please post
the information.

As an aside: I finally found some information about the fruit produced by the M111 rootstock. There is a picture
of the resulting apples on page 148 of "Our Apples" ed S Khanizadeh (isbn 0660605430) - there is a copy
at the Ottawa Public Library main branch. Unfortunately, there is no description about size or apple characteristics - but
the apple picture shows a lovely red apple with white specks. I have written to the St. Jean-sur-Richelieu research station to see if
someone there can give me information about apple size, texture, taste etc
