Sudan grass is a sorghum that grows to 5 feet tall
in 3 months. It's also an annual. It is utterly unsuitable for
orchard planting.
Also, when it wilts (due to frost, or fire, or
herbicide application) it produces prussic acid ( hydrogen cyanide), which is
toxic to livestock.
Why on earth did you recommend Sudangrass?
