This year most of my trees are putting out a sparse crop of apples so to
save time later on, I'm marking the bloom clusters with colored flagging
tape. This will save time when bagging because I won't need to spend time
hunting for the sight of tiny green apples amongst all the small green
leaves. In the past, bagging took longer with a short crop than with a
large crop only because so much time was spent looking for sparsely spaced
apple clusters.
