When I bought two dozen Beach Plum from the New Hampshire Conservation
Service, Dave Griffin said that he didn't think they'd survive my zone 3
Winter. As it turns out, he was right........................for the wrong
reason(?). Last Winter they survived -38 F and the temperature dropped to
only -25 F this past Winter. Now, a few of them are alive, but barely.
Does anyone have a guess as to what might have did them in?
