I finally was able o get fruit on my Loquat trees that were grown in container. I've been growing two Loquat trees in my greenhouse for the past 4-5 years. I bring them out in the summer, and wintered in the cool greenhouse where temperatures drop to around 40 F. This year I wanted to give up the space to figs an other trees in the greenhouse to I left them to die in the cold. In november after they got hit by the frost, I noticed that they're all have flower buds for the first time. They needed the cold snap to allow them to flower. here's are the pictures. http://www.citrusnorth.com/f12/loquat-containers-426/#post2647
