Subject: [NAFEX] retraction and apology: Mr. Blackberry
Date: Fri, 05 Oct 2007 05:53:25 -0400
Dear NAFEXers,
I need to issue a very apologetic retraction for having attributed "Mr. Blackberry," the article on p. 18 of the most recent Pomona, to Anton Callaway. I just received a shocked email from him containing the sentence, "I did not in any way contribute to the article entitled, "Mr. Blackberry". The article on page 18 is not my style and I didn't write it."
I am very sorry, and I am also apologizing to whoever DID write it. Please let me know, and I will print a correction in the next Pomona, or reprint the article with the proper author listed, if you would like.
This brings me to something that will prevent a future mess like this: when you send me an article as an attachment, please make sure your name is printed on the article itself, not just in the email.
Again, I apologize profusely to you, Anton, to the rest of you readers, and to the person who did put in all the work on that excellent article.
Jackie
