Bill, Seeing as you are likely someday to have way too much fruit anyway,
how about some nuts to eat with the fruit? You could fit some hazels in
those spots instead of sweet cherries. Seeing as hazels are bushes, and
Badgersett is selling seedlings that are going to be variable, you could
plant them pretty close together, and after a few years take out all but the
best ones. They aren't picky about soil, and here in TN our wild hazels
have nuts on them that survived through the Big Freeze. Donna
