Hallo Lon, thank you for your information! I understood, they developed already a gen manipulated plum before they have tried different resistant cultivars at the USA... And now - just short before "a crisis in this country" - they want to sell this wonderful new plum. Bon appetit! "HoneySweet" sounds like the word: "liberty-link" like one American company is calling the "wonderful connection" between Roundup, the gen manipulated plants and the company at the EU. Since some decades we have also the plum pox at Germany. It came from Bulgaria 1918! PPV has never been a big problem because professional producers are regularly spraying and we (and you too) have had already resistant plum cultivars and we produced already new resistant plum cultivars additionally.Without gen manipulation. We have many plum cultivars which are considered PPV resistant (the fruits AND the leaves and the wood). Professionals need usually only fruit-resistance... Anna Späth Bühler Frühzwetsche Cacaks Beste Cacaks Frühe Cacaks Schöne Graf Brühl Herman Sanctus Hubertus Ruth Gerstetter Gräfin Cosel Valor and many others e.g. also different Nancy Mirabelle Your US Stanley and Ontario should be also good to medium resistant. But the very new plum "Jojo" is absolute 100%ly resistant (without gen manipulation)! Many (or some) of your USA apricots are also PPV resistant. ciao hans Germany Lon J. Rombough schrieb:
