Subject: [NAFEX] Sudden blueberry death
Date: Wed, 20 Jun 2007 22:07:59 -0700
It suddenly died, mid-fruiting. The berries were just getting blue, and
over a matter of days the entire plant browned, dried out and seemingly
died. All the leaves are a leathery tan color, and on the plant are
little dehydrated blueberries. Its neighbor plant, also about 10 years
old, is going strong, and producing yummies. Both plants are in
planters, in fog belt of San Francisco CA, and have never really been
fertilized at all.
What could have befallen plant number 1, and is plant number 2 at risk?
