Because each GM product is NOT scrutinized to the
hilt.
GM testing always operates under unproven assumptions
about what might or might not be problematic because
there is no way to test all potential impacts of GM
foods. So the questions is, are the testers missing
things? The answer is yes:
There are HUNDREDS of articles on the interent
concerning the failures to test GM foods adequately.
That you seem to be unaware of any of them is a
testament to either your ignorance or your dishonesty.
That you choose to post on topics of which you appear
to be completely ignorant is bad enough. If you post
again claiming that GM foods are adequately tested, I
will know beyond any doubt that something more than
ignorance is at issue.
Not only has the testing been shoddy, but those who
criticize GM foods or the testing procedures are
likely to face retribution:
You want to be fair? Here's what's fair. Quit growing
all GM prodcuts until they have all been adequately
tested. It is not the public's burden to prove a GM
organism can harm a person, an animal or a bee, it is
the GM grower's burden to show that there is no way
that GM organism can harm anyone. That has not been
done.
