Wow and Dammit !
I like this club.....
Mr. Garthright's experience is exactly what happened to me as well.
I was reading about Aronia (for years now) and most of the reviews are
positive. Then, one guy writes, "Of course you have to cook them, as the skins
taste bad", or something to that effect, and I think, AHA !; I knew it was to
good to be true ! Aronias stink ! That was close, I almost bought a
few.....!!
Now, all you folks' opinion (first hand, and outranks any printed material)
says the exact opposite !!
This is what we have. Casual conversation to one man; great news to
another.
Does anybody know of a University Extension (or similar) that has done some
trials?
Richard Murphy
PS It really bothers me when I see people on the
internet publishing things that they have no knowledge of.
Winemaking advice in
particular, but others as well. Some kid takes an interest in something, spends
a few hard-earned dollars on some supplies, gets some bad advice works really
hard and his project fails, and then he gives up. It isn't the dollars that
bother me; it's the disappointed kid that bothers me....... What do y'all do
when you see irresponsible stuff in print?
