Does anyone sell Hickory Nuts?
Slim to no hickory nuts
here this year. Bumper crop last year.
I'll second Sam's recommendation to check EBay.
Had a friend here in the neighborhood who sold a couple hundred pounds of
run-of-the-mill native shagbark nuts on EBay last year.
Don't know what the crop was like in PA, but these folks are a
possibility:
Dravis Nut Grove
567 Wilt Hollow Rd.
Schellsburg, PA 15559
814-733-4480
John H. Gordon, Jr., in Amherst, NY sells stratified seednuts of some
hickory cultivars, may have nuts available.
Cliff England has, in the past, sold hickory nuts, but I suspect he had a
minimal or nonexistent crop, like most other KY growers.
