Well, it's not completely off-topic. One of the reasons I'm looking
for the tree is that I like chewing on the twigs - tastes like
wintergreen. But it's a lot prettier than black birch, which has
even more wintergreen flavor.
Anyhow, does anyone know nursery of other source that could sell me a
small yellow birch seedling for planting in my backyard? It seems to
be a very uncommon plant to grow, unlike the whites, which are
available everywhere.
