Besides the fact that many vegetables are actually fruits, Tree or woody fruit
crops are not applicable to Plant Variety Protection. It is specific to
seed/sexually propagated crops. Plant Patents are for the Tree/woody types.
I was writing info in about PVPs for folks to get a sense of the way plants in
general are legally protected for individual breeders and companies.
