| The only reason I prune my shipova is because I erroneously planted it too close to some other plants. The tree needs little or no pruning, mostly to keep it open to light and air rather than to stimulate new wood. Branch weighting has also been unnecessary because of the naturally wide crotch angles. No particular pest problems except some catfacing. I hope the dwarfing rootstock can induce precocity and dwarfing. I'm trying to dwarf some other shipovas of mine by using interstems of OHxH 513.
