| I have found supermarket strength (about 6%) vinegar quite effective against weeds, especially grasses, and especially if a tablespoon of canola oil and a tablespoon of liquid soap are added to each gallon. Efficacy seems to depend to some degree on weather conditions, the mix becoming more effective in hotter weather.
