Don't see how any apple maggot could survive the pressing of the apple mash while forcing out juice.
When I had cattle they went nuts over the pulp! I'll bet horses would also like.
Converted the pulp to manure fertlizer. Saved grass & hay.
And yes, a few seeds survived and rooted in the pasture, but didn't survive grazing long.
