Maybe not enough chill hours? I think chill hours are hours of moderate cold, like 40-50F. My understanding is that when you get very far north you can run into "not enough chill hours" problems, too, as the temp drops so quickly below the point where the plant is really metabolizing. Whatever the problem, I suggest you try another raspberry, or one from another source. That one doesn't seem well-suited to your conditions. A non-bearing raspberry is a weed. Best luck, Ginda |
